Kurb: Unsolicited Material Policy

Our Stance
At KURB, we are constantly building new worlds and narrative architectures. Because we have an extensive slate of projects in active development, we maintain a strict policy: KURB does not accept or consider unsolicited creative materials.

What is “Unsolicited Material”?

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Full scripts (screenplays, stage plays, or teleplays).
  • Story treatments, outlines, or loglines.
  • Pitch decks or podcast formats.
  • Character designs or world-building bible
How We Handle Submissions
  • Automatic Deletion: Any emails containing unsolicited creative attachments or links will be deleted immediately without being opened or read.
  • Physical Mail: Any unsolicited physical scripts sent to our office will be returned unopened or securely destroyed.
  • Social Media: We do not accept pitches via DM or social media comments.

Legal Agreement & Waiver
By contacting us, you acknowledge that KURB may already be developing projects that are identical or substantially similar to your own ideas in theme, plot, or character. You agree that you will not be entitled to any compensation or credit if KURB eventually produces work that bears a resemblance to anything you may have sent in violation of this policy.

How to Get Your Work Read
As a professional company, we only review “solicited” material. This means your work must be submitted through:
  1. A Recognised Literary Agent: The industry standard for verified submissions.
  2. An Entertainment Lawyer: For projects coming from established production partners.
  3. A Professional Request: If a member of the Kurb team has explicitly asked to see your work following a professional meeting or a formal query letter.
